On 6-7 March 2020, the Cluster of Logistics and Rail Engineering (CLARE) successfully conducted the 1st international collaboration workshop on Train Car Design. The Interior Architecture Department of Thammasat University, The Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, and May Day Group were invited. This collaboration project supported by CLARE aimed to brainstorm ideas and inspire new perspectives for metro journey experiences.

The challenge of the workshop was to “re-design a train car that makes passengers scramble to nab a standing area”.
