On November 12, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, represented by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, held a ceremony to receive scientific equipment from AZ Science (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and DKK-TOA Corporation, Japan. The ceremony was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who presided over the event. Ms. Emiko Masuda, Managing Director of AZ Science (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Masao Shoji, Executive Vice-President of DKK-TOA Corporation, Japan, spoke about the purpose and origins of donating the portable multi-item water quality meters (WQC-40 devices) to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. These devices will be used to advance research and development in environmental engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. Associate Professor Dr. Trakarn Prapaspongsa, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering (International Program), introduced the Faculty of Engineering. The event was attended by lecturers, staff, and students who witnessed the handover ceremony and joined in the celebrations at Innogineer Studio, 1st floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
