On November 19, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, hosted a signing ceremony for an academic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Construction Laboratory (NCL), under the General Departments of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, Cambodia. The MOU was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and H.E. Nhar Heng, Director General of NCL. The ceremony took place in Meeting Room R210, 2nd floor, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and was also conducted online via Zoom.

The event was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, Associate Professor Dr. Teraphan Ornthammarath, Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Mr. Lao Soksophonara, a representative from NCL, who served as witnesses to the signing.

This academic MOU between the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and NCL Cambodia aims to foster collaboration in civil and environmental engineering at both national and international levels, strengthening ties and promoting innovation between the two organizations.
