On November 12, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, hosted a meeting to discuss academic cooperation with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan. The Mahidol delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Special Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Korporn Panyim, Deputy Dean for Administration, Research, and Innovation, and Associate Professor Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Founder of the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB), along with other faculty members.

The NCKU delegation was represented by Chair Professor Fong-chin Su, Executive Director of the Taiwan-Thailand Science and Technology Center (TTSTC) and former Executive Vice President of NCKU, as well as Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Director of the Taiwan-Thailand Science and Technology Center, Thailand, accompanied by other executives from TTSTC.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the scope of collaboration between Mahidol University and NCKU, with an emphasis on promoting research in Health Technology, Smart Living, Resilient Society, and Sustainable Environment. The discussion took place at Meeting Room R114, 1st Floor, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
