On May 20, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, through its Engineering for Social Responsibility initiative, in collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, led students and researchers to visit the Thong Urai Elderly Club in Salaya, Phutthamonthon. The purpose of the visit was to attend a meeting on data collection guidelines for conducting physical activities aimed at preventing and delaying risks in the elderly. This initiative is part of a research project titled "Developing and Increasing the Efficiency of Innovations to Promote Physical Activity at All Ages," led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat. The activities will take place from June to August 2024 at the Thong Urai Elderly Club Office in Salaya, Phutthamonthon, Nakhon Pathom Province. The club area will be used for practical learning and skills training for the elderly, aligning with the research project's goal of creating modern innovations that meet the needs of the elderly. This initiative also promotes sustainable organizational development (SDGs 17) and supports the driving force of social guiding policies.
