On May 15, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, welcomed participants to the short-course workshop on "Forecasting and Inventory Management for Pharmacists." The workshop is scheduled to be held from May 15-17, 2024, at the Grand Richmond Stylish Convention Hotel, Nonthaburi Province. Rawinkhan Srinon, Head of the Center for International Healthcare Logistics and Supply Chain (HEALTH CLARE) from the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, attended the event. The workshop is organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nantawarn Kitikannakorn, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nopphadol Chalortham, and a group of lecturers. The aim is to transfer knowledge and exchange experiences in forecasting and inventory planning to pharmacists and the general public. Participants will be able to apply this knowledge to work related to logistics and health supply chains. This workshop also focuses on the transfer of academic knowledge and the application of open-source software, specifically the R programming language, for data analysis. The goal is to enhance participants' knowledge and skills, increasing the potential of health logistics personnel in planning logistics management for the future.
