The "Mahidol Engineering Innovation Youth Camp 2024" project was organized by the Innovation Development and Incubation Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. It took place between April 26th and 28th, 2024, at the Innogineer studio for secondary school students in grades 2-4. The objective of the camp was to equip project participants with basic engineering skills through lecture activities and Engineering Workshop sessions covering areas such as Robotics, Microcontrollers, Computer-Aided Design, 3D Printing, and Laser Cutting. Real robot simulations were created to facilitate teamwork and knowledge exchange among students from various institutions. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to explore various locations within Mahidol University through the Campus Tour activity.
The project was spearheaded by the Innovation Development and Incubation Affairs, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornthip Keangin, Deputy Dean for Networking Development and Corporate Relations, serving as the chairman. She delivered an opening speech, welcoming the students to the project. Asst. Prof. Dr. Chamras Promptmas, Advisor to the Dean for Supporting the Organization's Mission, also graced the event and honored the participants. Certificates were awarded to the students on the final day. The Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, is committed to promoting engineering knowledge among high school students, enabling them to grasp the fundamentals of engineering before embarking on further studies.
