From March 30 to April 19, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University's Engineering for Social Responsibility Department organized training activities to practice skills and transfer knowledge, "Repairing old bicycles to make them usable," following the Royal Development Project. These activities were conducted for students of the Nakhon Sawan Campus Establishment Project at Mahidol University, involving 30 vehicles. The aim was to allow students and volunteer students to practice working skills outside of the classroom and gain real-life experiences to enhance their studies and daily lives. A ceremony is scheduled for April 25, 2024, to deliver 30 bicycles to the Nakhon Sawan Campus Establishment Project at Mahidol University.
The project is a collaboration between the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the Student Affairs Division, the Mahidol University, Nakhon Sawan Campus, and Buddhamonthon Industrial and Community Education College, Nakhon Pathom Province. It aims to promote sustainable organizational development (SDGs 17) and is part of activities under social policy guidance.
