On April 4, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, together with Khun Teerapong Kongsabutra, General Manager at JLK Automation (Thailand), Asst. Prof. Dr. Narit Hnoohom, Department Chair of Computer Engineering, and Mr. David Wong, General Manager (Digitization & Singapore) at JLK Technology, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as strategic partners to carry out development work, support, and promote medical innovation, products, materials, equipment, medical tools, and automation. The aim is to meet comparable international standards and distribute these products both domestically and abroad by utilizing research results, knowledge, technology, and innovation to elevate Thailand's innovation, treatment, and public health services. This includes expanding knowledge to invent and research medical device technology, enhancing personnel readiness to meet national and regional needs, and undertaking numerous forthcoming projects. The signing event took place at the Innogineer Studio, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Salaya.
