On March 19, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, represented by the Department of Biomedical Engineering and led by Assistant Prof. Dr. Warakorn Charoensuk, Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Department, along with faculty members, warmly received Dr. Philip Riches, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Dr. Craig Childs from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, for a meeting to discuss academic cooperation and joint curriculum development between the two universities. The meeting included a seminar featuring presentations on "An Overview of Research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Strathclyde" and "Joint Instability: an engineering perspective" by Dr. Philip Riches. Additionally, there was a guided tour of the Department of Biomedical Engineering's laboratories, which encompass the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology Lab (BART LAB), Brain-Computer Interface Lab (BCI LAB), Smart Motion Analysis and Rehabilitation Technology (SMART LAB), Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM LAB), and Biosensors Laboratory.
