On March 20, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Korporn Panyim, Deputy Dean for Administration, Research, and Innovation, along with faculty staff, participated in the activity funded by the Low Sodium Campaign Funding project from Mahidol University. The aim was to promote awareness of diseases caused by high sodium consumption and to educate on ways to reduce sodium intake. The focus was on selecting sodium-reducing products and creating knowledge about offering food according to nutritional principles to reduce sodium consumption, particularly exceeding the standards of monks and novices. Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Planning, Quality Development, and Academic Services at Mahidol University, along with Dr. Phibul Chompolpaisal, Dean of the College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University, and department representatives, faculty staff, and students of the College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University, participated in giving alms to monks and attended a lecture on the topic The Importance of Reducing Sodium Intake for Good Health' at the Namthong conference room, Khun Wisan, College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University, Salaya.
