On March 19, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, along with Khun Phakaphong Sirikantaramas, Governor of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), and representatives from Alstom (Thailand) Company Limited, namely Mr. Yohann Levasseur, President and CEO, and Khun Walaiporn Leelawannee, Head of Bangkok Technology Center, joined in signing the memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation (TRIPARTITE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING) to develop knowledge and innovations in the mass rapid transit system at Meeting Room 1, Floor 9, Building 1, MRTA.
Operating under the memorandum of understanding, all three agencies will cooperate and perform their duties to the best of their abilities to achieve academic integration and apply knowledge about the railway system for maximum benefit, fostering collaboration between the government, educational, and industrial sectors. The determination is to achieve the goal of developing knowledge and innovation in mass transit.
