On February 28, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, the Dean of Engineering, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Special Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wanida Koo-amornpattana, Department Chair of Chemical Engineering, Lect. Gunn Kanatarntip Department Chair of Industrial Engineering, Dr. Konlakorn Wongpatikaseree from the Department of Computer Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ittiphong Leevongwat from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Pornpat Athamanolap from the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakhon Ratchahat from the Department of Chemical Engineering attended a collaboration discussion with executives and lecturers from Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. The meeting, held at Meeting Room R-114, Floor 1, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, included Yi-Ming Sun, Dean of the College of Engineering, Rung-Bin Li, Dean of the College of Informatics, Yun-Chia Liang, Chief of Global Affairs Office, Chi-Wei John Lan, Chair & Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, and Fang-Bor Weng, Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The discussions primarily focused on collaboration in academic research, courses, and the exchange of students and faculty staff between the two universities. Delegates also had the opportunity to visit laboratories in the Chemical Engineering and Computer Engineering departments.
