Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Congratulates Award-Winning Lecturers at IPITEx 2024
On February 21, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, along with the management team and faculty staff, extended congratulations to the lecturers who received awards at the "2024 Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exposition" (IPITEx 2024). The recognition took place during the "Inventor's Day" event organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, on February 2, 2024, at the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangna.
The list of award winners is as follows:
1. Assoc. Prof. Jackrit Suthakorn, work on BART LAB AI-Elderly Supporting Robot in Sit-to-Stand and Walk Applications and BART LAB Intelligent Robotic Wheelchair Stair Climbing.
- Gold Prize.
- International Spatial Prize from the Korea Invention Promotion Association.
2. Assoc. Prof. Panrasee Ritthipravat, work on AIThaiGen: AI Learning Platform.
- National Research Award in the Invention Award of honor.
3. Dr. Nantida Nillahoot, thesis on “Haptic Virtual Reality-based Surgical Training System: Hardware, Software, and Testing.”
- National Research Award in the Good Thesis Award.
