On February 21, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Engineering for Social Responsibility and the Department of Electrical Engineering, visited the area to organize the "Transfer Knowledge and Practice Skills with IoT Smart Farm Innovation" activity. Lecturer Worawit Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya from the Department of Electrical Engineering served as a speaker for elementary and secondary school students from more than 20 schools in Nakhon Pathom province. The event took place at Phra Pathom Wittayalai School 2 as part of the "PPT2 OPEN HOUSE 2023," and the opening ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Director of the Nakhon Pathom Educational Service Area Office.
The purpose of this activity was to provide a foundational understanding of technology, science, and engineering to contribute to the development of modern learning in Thai education, particularly in the 5.0 era. The initiative aimed to integrate IoT engineering technology into skill training exercises, fostering environmental development and natural balance for sustainability. This academic service for society aligns with the goal of supporting the sustainable development of school education, adhering to SDGs 17 (Sustainable Development Goals). The organization of this activity is a significant step toward promoting social policy guidance.
