On February 14, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Engineering for Social Responsibility and the Department of Electrical Engineering, led students into community areas to gather necessary information for their Capstone Projects. The locations included Wat Maha Sawat Nak Phuttharam, Ban Sala Din Community, and the organic farming community in Nakhon Pathom Province, totaling three locations. During this initiative, students developed communication skills with community members and provided engineering solutions. The community areas served as practical learning environments (LAB rooms) for students, enabling them to enhance their skills by addressing real issues in the communities surrounding the university. Students actively applied their knowledge to solve various problems and develop innovative solutions that align with the needs of the community. This activity serves as an academic contribution to society, supporting sustainable educational development and aligning with SDGs 17 (Sustainable Development Goal). It is a part of the university's commitment to sustainable organizational development.
