Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University welcomed executives and lectures from Kyoto University, Japan.
On February 8, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, welcomed executives and lecturers from Kyoto University, Japan. The delegation from Kyoto University included Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, Vice President for International Strategy, Prof. Fumiharu Mieno, Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and Prof. Eiji Nawata, Director of the ASEAN Center. They were warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teraphan Ornthammarath, Head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwanna Boontanon, Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Weerawut Chaiwat, lecturer from the Department of Chemical Engineering. During the visit, the executives and lecturers from Kyoto University toured the laboratories of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering. The visit also involved discussions on potential academic cooperation that may take place in the future.
