On February 7, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornthip Keangin, Deputy Dean for Networking Development and Corporate Relations, at Mahidol University, organized the activity 'Delta Career Talk' in collaboration with Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited. Delta Electronics is a world-leading manufacturer of power supply products and electronic components. The event aimed to provide valuable insights into the electronics sector, offering recommendations on job application preparation and interview skills for 4th-year students. Additionally, guidance on internships for 3rd-year students was provided, along with an introduction to working at Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited by senior alumni of the Faculty of Engineering. The event took place at Innogineer Studio, 1st floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
In conjunction with the event, a meeting was held to discuss the establishment of specialized laboratories and joint curriculum development between the two departments. Attendees included Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornthip Keangin, Deputy Dean for Networking Development and Corporate Relations, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University; Dr. Soracha Dechaumphai, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs; Mr. Amit Kumar Dubey, Talent Acquisition Manager; and Mr. Tawichai Premgamone, Electrical Design Principal Engineer CDBU, all from Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited. The meeting also saw the participation of Dr. Supun Tiptipakorn, Department Chair of Electrical Engineering; Asst. Prof. Dr. Rung Kittipichai, Department Chair of Mechanical Engineering; Asst. Prof. Dr. Narit Hnoohom, Department Chair of Computer Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ittiphong Leevongwat; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surachoke Thanapitak, who are lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering.
