On February 6, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, joined in welcoming a group of industrial entrepreneurs participating in the INNOVATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY seminar on the topic of Mahidol Medical & Healthcare Technology at the Grand Ballroom, Mahidol University Conference Center and Parking Building, Mahidol University, Salaya, of the Prince Mahidol Hall. The event was honored by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University, who opened the seminar. There was a lecture on the topic of Mahidol Health Tech Ecosystem by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT).

This seminar included a special discussion on the topic of 'Health Tech for the Next Era.' Participants included Dr. Jetsada Arnin, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communications of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, who participated in a discussion on the topic of 'Mahidol Engineering Healthcare Technology Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kulachart Jangpatarapongsa, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation of the Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University (MUMT), who participated in a discussion on the topic of 'Medical Devices'; and Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, who participated in a discussion on the topic of AI-Based Medical Diagnosis.' This discussion was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Panon Latcharote, Deputy Director of the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management, Mahidol University (iNT).

On this occasion, the group of entrepreneurs visited the Faculty of Engineering laboratories, including the BioTesting Lab, Biosensor Lab, BART Lab, and BCI Lab of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, as well as the Flex Lab of the Department of Industrial Engineering and the LogHealth Center.
