On April 5, 2022, Clinical Prof. Em. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, Chairman of the Mahidol University Council, and Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., president of Mahidol University, attended the meeting discussing the establishment of the centralized warehouse for Siriraj Hospital together with Assoc. Prof. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, the Vice Director of Siriraj Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangpun Kritchanchai, the Executive Director of the Center of Logistics Management and Healthcare Supply Chain (LogHealth), and Miss Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of WHA Group. The purpose of the meeting was to seek a feasible collaborative approach to establish a warehouse for logistics and the healthcare supply chain that can facilitate logistics and cost management. The meeting was held in an online format.

Mahidol University and the Faculty of Engineering aim at setting up the centralized warehouse as one of Mahidol startups and a LogHealth model for hospitals and medical organizations in Thailand. The establishment is collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University and WHA Group—Thailand’s leading developer of fully integrated logistics, industrial estates, power and utilities, and digital services.
