On February 15, 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr. Korporn Panyim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University presided and gave an opening remark of the seminar “Guidelines to PM 2.5 Mitigation and Reduction of Health Risks from Road Transportation in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area”. The seminar was held by the Faculty of Engineering and sponsored by “Policy Advocacy Project Grants for Social Guidance” with the Center for Clean Air Solutions (CCAS) and ThaiHealth Promotion Foundation as the associates. The seminar includes the presentation of the White Paper on “Guidelines to PM 2.5 Mitigation” and an activity that raises people’s awareness of PM 2.5 mitigation. Assoc. Prof. Wongpun Limpaseni, the Director of CCAS, gave a presentation on the management of air pollution in the traffic and transportation sector. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trakarn Prapaspongsa from the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, gave presentations on the health effects of PM 2.5 and 7 guidelines for mitigating PM 2.5 and health impacts caused by road transportation in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area.
