On February 4, 2022, at the JW Marriot Hotel Bangkok, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University led by the lecturers, researchers, and students conducted a research and innovation exhibition at the closing ceremony of the Wellness & Healthcare Business Opportunity Program for Executives 1 (WHB1). The attendees of the program comprised 102 chief executives from various leading organizations from both the public and private sectors. Clinical Prof.Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn conferred the certificates upon all attendees of the program, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. Mr. Krisada Chinavicharana, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance gave a special speech while Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, the President of Mahidol University, delivered the farewell speech.
Wellness & Healthcare Business Opportunity Program for Executives (WHB) is a cooperation project between ASEAN Institute for Health Development of Mahidol University, along with Siam Health Development Co., Ltd., Department of Health Service Support, Department of Community and Global Health from The University of Tokyo, and Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The program was organized in response to the Thai government’s policy which aims at making Medical Hubs one of Thailand’s future industries and services.
