On January 10, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Thailand, and the General Chair of the World RoboCup 2022, discussed the readiness and planning for organizing the World RoboCup 2022 on 11-17 July 2022.

It was announced that the pre-RoboCup 2022 will be organized on January 27-29, 2022, in an online format.
