The Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University congratulates the sophomore students from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Powerpuff Team, who have advanced to the final round of 15 teams for their ‘Detect Disease Toilet (DDT) by Young Happy’ project. The team members include Ms. Thanaree Hainak, Ms. Thanyathorn Suksaard and Ms. Sarin Nipatvorasakul.

This competition is organized by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) under the scheme of “Innovation for Aging Society”. It is a Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Project focusing on the elders that gives an opportunity to the new generation to come up with big innovative ideas for the elderly population.

The 15 selected teams will participate in a workshop activity to learn the skills of prototyping and pitching to win an innovation prize of 155,000 Baht.
