The Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr. Thanaphon Kongboonma, Chief Executive Officer of Chanwanich Co., Ltd., for academic cooperation, research, and development of innovative systems for intelligent medical information. Mr. Pantapong Tangteerasunun, Assistant Managing Director of Innovation Department, Mr. Peerapol Promvong, General Manager of Chanwanich Co., Ltd., Dr. Keita Ono, Director of the Office of Incubation and Innovation Development, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Vice Dean for Human Resource Development and Public Relations, Faculty of Engineering, witnessed the signing ceremony.

This cooperation aims to develop knowledge and skills in academics, research, and innovative products. It promotes personnel knowledge and skill development in terms of intelligent technology systems. This collaboration is to implement health and medical research studies in accordance with medical information transmission standards and carry out other academic service activities with government and private organizations which will be beneficial to the society and nation.

This agreement came into effect on June 1, 2021. The session was organized in an online format, video conferencing via Zoom.
