The party continued with a beautiful Thai tradition of making the Kra-thong. The Kra-thong is traditionally made from a banana tree plant and adorned with flowers, banana leaves, and a candle. Thai people float it on the water which symbolically means letting go of hatred and anger. All participants formed 7 groups having only 30 minutes to make a Kra-thong. In the end, the group with the most creative design and the best presentation of Kra-thong concept won Two Thousand Baht Cash Prize!
To give a second chance to all students to win a prize, the Lucky Draw was done by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornthip Keangin, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Student Affairs. Two lucky students won a flask and a camera! EG Music Club danced everyone on the stage with a live performance. The ceremony was closed with having all groups float their Kra-thong on water and make a wish!
