March 15-16, International Advanced Medical Robotics Symposium (iAMRS), 2019, was held for the first time in Thailand with the purpose of developing medical systems for Medical Robotics. iAMRS was run in collaboration with BART LAB, Mehidol University, TCELS, and Ministry of Science and Technology in Thailand. iAMRS was focused on the following topics:

• Robotics in Surgery
• Robotics for Rehabilitation and Elderly
• Standards, Rules and Regulations
• Healthcare/Hospital Robotics
• Digital and AI in Medicine
• Medical Robotics and Device Industry

We had the honor to have plenary speakers from around the world and Clin. Prof. Udom Kachintorn, Deputy Minister of Education in Thailand. According to Clin. Prof. Udom Kachintorn, the interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaborations, clearly reflected in research topics, were particularly impressive.
