EG-MU and British Council
March 15, 2019, EG-MU signed partnership agreement with British Council. The British Council in partnership with the Office of Higher Education Commission (OHEC), Ministry of Education, have established the Thailand-UK Higher Education Partnership Programme to strengthen the network of existing Transnational Education Links, and the Newton Fund Institutional Links, broadening the links to explore both academic and industry partnerships. The objectives of the project are to:
- Strengthen institutional leadership to enhance the internationalization strategy of higher education
- Extend and sustain Thai-UK cooperation on institutional partnerships to offer wider networking opportunities
- Develop links with industry
The project with run from January 2019 to March 2020 with the following activities:
- Organizing workshops for academic partnerships, research officers or international affairs officers, and university-industry engagement
- Holding a seminar on University-Industry engagement
- UK visits for the purpose of academic partnerships and University-Industry engagement.
