Mahidol Engineering Organizes “Modern Risk Analysis and Decision Making Methods” Seminar
On June 12 th 2018, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University organized Mahidol Engineering Special Seminar Series entitled “Modern Risk Analysis and Decision Making Methods”. Dr. Jun Ren – Visiting Professor from Department of Maritime and Mechancial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Liverpool John Moores University in the UK was an invited speaker. The presentation addressed risk analysis methodology and several case studies to illustrate the application of the modern decision making methods for risk analysis (i.e. AHP, FMEA, Monte Carlo Simulation, etc.). The seminar is a part of a project entitled “REliability and Safety Engineering and Technology for large maritime engineering systems (RESET)” funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
