On 3 December 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, with the executive team of the Faculty, welcomed representatives from Mahidol Wittayanusorn School (MWIT). The meeting was to discuss strategic collaboration in developing Digital Transformation.

The discussion covered 8 key areas: AI training (Prompt Engineering); developing AI and Digital Transformation infrastructure; PDPA framework design and Hackathon initiatives; Data Governance and AI Governance; student collaboration in AI, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology; STEM cooperation with Russia; joint research and digital technology development linking science and mathematics for economic and social impact; and cooperation in IT development and the overall Digital Transformation roadmap. The meeting was held in Room R-210, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.

This marks a significant step in strengthening the partnership between two of Thailand’s leading institutions. By aligning their visions and expertise, Mahidol Engineering and MWIT will improve educational excellence, innovation, and digital technology capabilities: paving the way for sustainable national development in the digital era.
