The Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, organized a Graduate Student Exchange Program between Mahidol University and Harbin Engineering University 2025 from 23–29 November 2025. The program welcomed graduate students from Harbin Engineering University (HEU), People’s Republic of China, to participate in a hands-on workshop designed to strengthen their skills in modern technology.
During the program, students engaged in sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) led by expert faculty members from Mahidol University. The workshop covered applications across biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, and computer engineering. This enabled participants to explore the ways AI can be integrated. Students also learned Thai language and Thai cultural foundations through classes conducted by specialists from the Institute of Language and Culture for Rural Development, enriching their cross-cultural experience.
The exchange program also gave students from both countries the chance to share academic perspectives, exchange learning experiences, and collaborate in a multicultural environment. This interaction helped build strong connections among the next generation of engineering professionals.
This initiative marks another significant step in strengthening long-term cooperation between Mahidol University’s Faculty of Engineering and Harbin Engineering University. Through academic exchange, cultural learning, and student development, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to advancing education and research on the international stage.
