On September 30, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, participated in The 6TH AUN-UIE Annual General Meeting hosted at Singapore Management University (SMU), Republic of Singapore. The meeting aimed to foster collaboration, secure potential funding opportunities, and strengthen relationships among member universities.

Previously, on August 11, 2025, the 2nd ASEAN University Network on Innovation and Enterprise (AUN-UIE) Quarterly Meeting was held online to review the draft agenda for the The 6TH AUN-UIE Annual General Meeting and discuss updates to ongoing projects. Key topics included the development of the AUN-UIE website, the launch of AUN-UIE Virtual Office Hours, and provide the opportunity to engage in the prestigious 12th Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC).

As the Official Representative of AUN-UIE, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon presented Mahidol University’s Strategic Priorities for 2026. His contribution highlighted the significant role that Mahidol Engineering has in shaping academic and innovation landscapes across the ASEAN region.

This platform emphasized the leadership of Mahidol Engineering and created an opportunity for the meaningful exchange of knowledge with leading universities in ASEAN—further strengthening academic development and advancing the capacity for future innovation.
