On September 10, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Chularat Sakdaronnarong, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, assisted by faculty members, organized the 2025 Chemical Engineering Graduate Orientation event to welcome new graduate students and help prepare them for the journey of in-depth learning in chemical engineering they are embarking on.

The orientation included an overview of the department, its curriculum, scholarships, and research approaches. There were also meetings with faculty members and researchers to help them gain a clear understanding of effective study and dissertation planning.

There was also a panel discussion with alumni, including Mr. Atthawit Thuamrungroj and Dr. Somchate Wasantvisut, on how to successfully complete their studies. The event students were given inspiration and advice on time management, research, and career preparation.

This activity helps new students feel more secure and confident as they begin their graduate studies. It also provides an opportunity for them to network with their peers and faculty members, which will provide support for their academic success.
