On August 25, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Vice President for Research, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor Dr. Benchaporn Lertanantawong, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, attended a meeting with Delta Thailand at the VIP5 Meeting Room, Delta Plant 5, Thailand.

The discussion focused on two key areas: Industry-Academia Collaboration and International Talent Cultivation. The Mahidol University delegation exchanged ideas and explored future cooperation with Delta Thailand executives and experts, together with representatives from the Taiwan-Thailand Scientific Research and Technological Innovation Center (TTSTC). Participants included Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL; Professor Fong-Chin Su, Executive Director of TTSTC and Professor at National Cheng Kung University; as well as Ms. Hsiu-An Chien and Ms. Wei-Chun Hsu, Project Managers at TTSTC. The discussions emphasized academic partnerships and the enhancement of student skills on an international scale.

This meeting marked an important step toward establishing a strategic partnership between Mahidol University and Delta Thailand, strengthening international academic cooperation, and creating opportunities for students and staff to gain exposure to industry practices and cutting-edge technological innovations. The collaboration aims to elevate the teaching, learning, and research capabilities of the Faculty of Engineering.
