On August 14, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, through its Innovation Development and Incubation Affair, met with representatives of Midea Refrigeration Equipment (Thailand) Co., Ltd. for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony at Meeting Room 210, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. Executives from both organizations attended the event.

The collaboration aims to strengthen academic and research cooperation between the two organizations. executives from both sides attending the event.

The ceremony began with a welcoming address from Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering who introduced the Faculty of Engineering. This was followed by an introduction to Midea Refrigeration Equipment (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and the background of the MoU signing by Miss Susan Li, COE Head, Thailand.

Signing on behalf of Mahidol University were Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean, and Assistant Professor Dr. Arom Boekfah, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Representing Midea Refrigeration Equipment (Thailand) were Miss Susan Li, COE Head, Thailand, and Miss Narissara Khwasui, Human Resources Business Partner.

This MoU marks an important milestone in building academic and industrial collaboration between Mahidol University’s Faculty of Engineering and Midea Refrigeration Equipment (Thailand) Co., Ltd. it will pave the way for future advancements in research, technology, and innovation.
