Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, with executives and faculty members, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, Vice President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Narit Hnoohom, Assistant to the President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, with a team from the Information Technology and Digital Transformation Division, Mahidol University.

They visited the Faculty to evaluate the information management of the IT Department for 2025: to assess the readiness of the department, and exchange ideas on the use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching, research, academic services, and medical and health services. The meeting was held in Room 114, 1st Floor, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University on July 18, 2025.

During the meeting, information and suggestions were evaluated. These included plans for future development of technology usage with a team from the Information Technology and Digital Transformation Division. Mahidol University has been continuously improving information management and cyber security. The policy is for each department to operate in accordance with international standards and practices of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), including compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This is to build confidence in the safe use of information technology within the organization. The policies will also strengthen secure and responsive information systems for the digital age.
