On July 18, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, welcomed Clinical Professor Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, President of the Mahidol University Council, along with fellow council members as part of the 4th University Council Visit of 2025. The executive team of the Faculty and academic staff also attended the meeting.

The event was held in Meeting Room R114 on the 1st floor of Building 1. It featured a comprehensive presentation concerning the progress of the Faculty in academic development, research, and public service. Discussions also covered key updates in infrastructure improvements, human resource development, The meeting also included information on national and international collaborations: reflecting the commitment of the Faculty to becoming a leading school of engineering in Thailand and beyond.

The Council engaged in active dialogue, raising insightful questions. The members of the Council offered valuable suggestions to further enhance the capabilities of the Faculty and help its alignment with global standards.
