On July 3, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University organized a special seminar titled “From Vision to Reality: Curtin University’s Ascension to Top 1%” at the Innogineer Studio, Mahidol University. The event was opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication. The highlight of the seminar was a keynote lecture by Professor Mark Ogden, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University. He shared valuable insights into the university’s strategic journey, and the key factors that contributed to its rise to the top 1% of universities worldwide.

The seminar included a Q&A session in which participants had the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker. This open discussion allowed attendees to explore ideas on higher education development, institutional excellence, and leadership in a global context.

The event served as a valuable platform for faculty members, students, and staff to gain international perspectives and learn from real-world experiences in building world-class academic institutions.
