On March 18, 2025. The Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Special Affairs along with lecturers from Electrical Engineering Department, Industrial Engineering Department and Biomedical Engineer Department welcomes representatives from the University of Essex, UK, for a collaborative discussion at Room 210, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. This collaborative discussion aims to strengthen academic ties between the two institutions.

Professor Gareth Howells, a distinguished expert in Cyber Security from the University of Essex along with Khun Amorndech Cholpilaiponk, Recruitment and Development Manager from SEA Regional Office, will introduce his institution and share insights into its academic excellence. The discussion will then progress to potential collaborations, focusing on a 3+1 postgraduate pathway, academic exchanges, and joint research opportunities. This initiative seeks to create new avenues for students and faculty to engage in international academic and research experiences.
