On January 15, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mahidol University International College (MUIC) to jointly develop teaching and learning for the Bachelor of Engineering (International Program). The signing ceremony was held at Room A303, Aditayathorn Building, MUIC, with Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Professor Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., Dean of the International College, signing the agreement.
The MOU focuses on the development, establishment, and management of the Bachelor of Engineering (International Program) across various disciplines. It aims to create a high-quality curriculum and produce graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the demands of both national and international labor markets. The cooperation also emphasizes curriculum enhancement, the exchange of expertise, and the efficient use of shared resources.
The ceremony was graced by executives from both faculties, including Associate Professor Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean overseeing general and human resources matters at MUIC, and Dr. Soracha Dechaumphai, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Engineering. Executive teams and personnel from both the International College and the Faculty of Engineering also attended the event.
This collaboration marks a significant step in elevating the quality of education and international programs at Mahidol University. It aims to support the university’s mission to sustainably meet the needs of the industrial sector in the global era.
