On January 13, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, welcomed esteemed representatives from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) to discuss academic and research collaboration. Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Assistant Professor Dr. Korporn Panyim, Deputy Dean for Administration, Research, and Innovation, along with faculty executives, hosted Professor Wen Wang FREng, Vice Principal for Science and Engineering, and Professor Alex Clark, Dean for International Affairs and Professor of Mathematics at QMUL's Faculty of Science and Engineering, as well as other QMUL faculty members and representatives. The meeting took place in Meeting Room 210, Building 1, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
The key topics of discussion included the establishment of Dual Degree 2+2 programs in Digital Health, Soft Robotics, and Sustainable Engineering. Additionally, the meeting explored opportunities for collaboration under the 4+1 Global Partnership and the Dual PhD 2+2 program. Both institutions also deliberated on the development of joint research proposals under the ISPF initiative, reinforcing their mutual commitment to advancing academic and research excellence.
