On January 9, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Wanida Koo-amornpattana, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and faculty members from the Department of Chemical Engineering, collaborated with the College of Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). Representing NCKU were Professor Dr. Chyan-Deng Jan, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Professor Dr. Dong-Hwang Chen, Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering. The meeting took place at Meeting Room R210, 2nd Floor, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.

During the meeting, both institutions agreed to jointly establish a Dual Master’s Degree Program, emphasizing student exchange and internationally recognized research. Students enrolled in this program will study in two countries: the first year at their home universities and the second year at the partner universities. Upon successful completion, students will earn degrees from both institutions.

This collaboration highlights the shared commitment of Mahidol University and NCKU to advancing the quality of education and research while fostering global leadership in engineering.
