On August 23, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, through the Engineering for Social Responsibility Department, organized the “Sustainable IoT & AI PLUS GOLD Communication Practice Competition” on the topic “Developing Innovations to Solve Problems in Schools with IoT GOLD and/or Automation.” The event took place in Meeting Room R114, Building 1, 1st Floor, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, presiding over the opening ceremony. The competition featured 10 schools selected to participate in the “STEM CHALLENGE” activity under the theme “Flooding Rescue Robot,” chosen from a total of 23 schools. The objective was to develop innovative teaching media for both teachers and students, leveraging engineering technology and other sciences to benefit schools. The ultimate goal was to help schools upgrade their education and learning environments, ensuring quality and inclusivity.
