On August 2, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean, along with executives and department heads, warmly welcomed new students at the orientation for the academic year 2024. The event took place in the lecture room of Prof. Dr. Kasan Chatikavanich, Office of the President, Mahidol University.

The event included a seminar on the topic "Dream Dare Do," featuring alumni speakers Jennifer Innes-Taylor (Biomedical Engineering, 29th batch), Ton Pornpra Chamnanwanichkul (Electrical Engineering, 24th batch), and Mai Saowalak Ong-art (Industrial Engineering, 20th batch). They shared their experiences and insights with the new students.

Additionally, the orientation featured ice-breaking activities, special prize giveaways, and a Photo-Booth for taking souvenir photos. This activity was an official welcome for the new students to the Mahidol Engineering family.
