On July 17, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with Dr. Eakkachai Warinsiriruk, a lecturer from the Department of Industrial Engineering, research administrators, and academic services officers, met with representatives from the WHA Eastern Industrial Estate in Rayong Province. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of short courses tailored to industry needs, following the guidelines of the EEC Model. The goal is to develop personnel in the industrial sector to support production and service sectors requiring new technologies such as AI, Digital Manufacturing and Management, and Drones. The team was welcomed by Mr. Ratchakit Klanphrom, Senior Site Manager of Industrial Estate Operations, and his team. Representatives from more than 20 companies attended the presentation, showing interest in safety engineering courses that use artificial intelligence technology to promote safety control and management, as well as human resources management courses in digital business. An additional survey of the training needs of entrepreneurs will be conducted, and the initiative will expand to other WHA industrial estates.
