On July 10, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, represented by the Department of Engineering for Social Responsibility and led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krissada Asavaskulkeit, Deputy Dean for Academic Services and Policy Advocacy, conducted a workshop titled “Creating Media with AI & IoT PLUS GOLD Technology and Applied in Teaching.” This workshop was part of the project “Improving the Quality of School Education with Engineering Skills and Technology 5.0 AI & IoT PLUS GOLD.” The objective was to enhance teaching and learning in engineering and technology, and to extend education by developing applications that enable teachers to understand and create artificial intelligence technology (AI & IoT) in the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This initiative aims to promote the continuous development of teachers' and students' potential, equipping them with life skills, morality, and ethics.

During the event, knowledge was shared on topics such as “STEAM Project Development Tools,” “Design Thinking Process,” and “Online Pitching Techniques and Assessment.” The expert speakers included Lect. Worawit Israngkul Na Ayutthaya, Dr. Somnida Bhatranand, and Lect. Tanatip Uan-On from the Department of Electrical Engineering, as well as Dr. Supree Buranakanit, an external expert, and Lect. Chaichanat Chansillapakul, an expert from Chulalongkorn University. The workshop on “Creating Media with AI & IoT PLUS GOLD Technology and Applied in Teaching” will be held from July 10 to July 12, 2024, in room R-238, 2nd floor, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
