On July 9, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), organized a Knowledge Transfer Seminar on Rail Systems, Transportation, and Logistics. The seminar aimed to transfer knowledge, technology, and exchange academic information on rail mass transit systems, as well as promote research in the rail industry. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and Mr. Nutt Nakthoranin, Assistant Governor of MRTA, jointly opened the seminar at the Mass Rapid Transit Learning Center (MRTA Learning Center).
During the event, there were lectures and knowledge transfer sessions on rail systems, transportation, and logistics. The seminar provided opportunities for exchanging and expanding knowledge in the field of railway engineering (Reskill/Upskill) with expert lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. The event also included a visit to learn about the rail system and mass transit by MRTA.
