On June 10, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by the Engineering for Social Responsibility initiative, organized a meeting to prepare for a short course on electric motorcycle repair training. The meeting was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krissada Asavaskulkeit, Deputy Dean for Academic Services and Policy Advocacy. Attendees included Dr. Supun Tiptipakorn, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering; Lecturer. Worawit Israngkul Na Ayutthaya from the Department of Electrical Engineering; Assistant. Professor Dr. Rung Kittipichai, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Mr. Sompop Rattanapa, support staff from the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Mr. Khunwat Sri Aruniam, Deputy Director of the Human Resource Department; and Mr. Thitipong Saiyu, Head of the Automotive Engineering Department at Buddhamonthon Industrial and Community Education College, attending on behalf of Mrs. Natchanokphromphon Bunchusri, Director of the Buddhamonthon Industrial and Community Education College. Also in attendance were Mr. Thewarit Thammakunakorn, Manager of Smart Light Co., Ltd., and Mr. Thanwa Wongsathiam, Manager of Siam Lighting Co., Ltd. The objective of the training is to enable youth to develop themselves, create careers, and enhance their basic experience. The training is scheduled to be held in February 2025.
This training is organized in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Buddhamonthon Industrial and Community Education College, Smart Light Co., Ltd., and Siam Lighting Co., Ltd. The collaboration aims to integrate efforts for the maximum benefit of society, promote sustainable organizational development (SDG 17), and is part of activities under the direction of social guidance policies.
