The Department is strongly research-oriented, in line with Mahidol University’s mission of world class engineering research. Students studying at all levels of Biomedical Engineering are required to participate in our research activities. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CE) produces graduates in the field of structural design, construction planning and structural diagnosis, project management consultancy in construction projects. The students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills from lectures and laboratory works, respectively. Field practice is also offered to provide our students with the experience of practical research in CE projects.

With the primary purpose of industrialization and internationalization, CO focuses on five areas: (1) Hardware and Circuit Design, (2) Software Engineering, (3) Network Engineering, (4) Applied IndustrialApplications, and (5) Digital Forensics. The Department emphasizes the integration of self-learning technology and the development of electronic courses through network infrastructure. Students are encouraged to obtain industrial experience and participate in computer-related activities, providing technological information and services to the public, for example.
