Entry requirements:

1. Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or other Master’s degree from an institute accredited by the Commission on Higher Education with a minimum GPA of 3.50 or equivalent.
2. Meet the English language proficiency requirement announced by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.  The test score is valid for 2 years since the date of examination.
3. Exception to the above items may be made by the Program Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. 

Selection Process:
A written exam and an interview will be arranged before the final selection is made by the Program Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Application document:

• One (1) complete application form (not necessary if completed online)  
• Two (2) recent photographs  
• Two (2) copies of applicant's degree certificate 
• Two (2) copies of certified academic transcript or grade report with English translation 
• Two (2) copies of statement with study plan and career goals. 
• Two (2) letters of recommendation from universities and / or employers, mailed directly to the Faculty of Graduate Studies 
• Two (2) copies of TOEFL score report of 500 or TOEIC of 173 or IELTS of 5.5 or higher 
• A write up on research motivation or proposed research topic in English (approximate 3-4 page length)
